8:40 - 9:00am Hanbery Award presentation, Dario Englot, Temporal Lobectomy for Epilepsy: Seizure Semiology in Patients who “Fail” Surgery
9:00 - 9:20am Rosegay Award presentation, Aaron Clark, Intraoperative Neuromonitoring with MEP Predicts Post-operative Neurological Deficits in Patients Having Surgery for Cervical and Cervicothoracic Myelopathy
All residents and fellows in the neurosciences were invited to submit their papers for consideration for the San Francisco Neurological Society's (SFNS) annual awards. The papers are previously unpublished, original work, however, they may be pending publication.
The Henry Newman award is presented each year to the author of the best paper dealing with clinical neurology. The Edwin Boldrey award is intended to recognize a research project in neuroscience. The John Hanbery award is given annually to the best clinical paper covering topics in neurosurgery. The Harold Rosegay award is given annually to the best clinical paper covering topics in neurosurgical anatomy, history and clinical practice.
