The San Francisco Neurological Society was founded in 1947 based on the principle of increasing, improving and disseminating knowledge about the neurosciences within the area of the Society's influence in the Western United States. “The Society has a long tradition of combining scientific excellence and social interaction with peers, allowing us to share the pleasures and challenges of life. There is absolutely no better forum to meet colleagues, whom you otherwise may know by name only.”

 

Although our membership predominantly includes neurologists and neurosurgeons, it also has members in neuroradiology, neuropathology, neuropsychiatry, neuro-oncology and physiatry (also known as physical medicine and rehabilitation).

 

Your membership enables us to provide continuing medical education (CME) through our multiple dinner meetings during the year as well as through our annual 3-day meeting (click here for preliminary program). A total of up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM can be obtain throughout the year without ever leaving the Bay Area.  As a member you will also receive registration discounts for these meetings.

 

All memberships are based on the calendar year of January 1 through December 31.  To renew either

  1. send a check for $100.00 payable to San Francisco Neurological Society with a copy of your invoice which was mailed on December 14, 2009 OR

The San Francisco Neurological Society is incorporated as a 501 (c) 6 tax exempt organization. Contributions to the Society will not be tax deductible as a charitable donation but will be tax deductible as an ordinary business expense. Our tax ID number is: 51-0478773.
