Dr. J. Elliott Royer Award in Neurology

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Two recipients will be selected for this cash award, one to an academic neurologist and the other to a community-based practitioner. Eligibility is limited to those working in San Francisco, Contra Costa and Alameda counties.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Academic excellence should be judged by:

a. Record of high-impact scholarly contributions to the field of neurology.

b. University service.

c. Community service.

d. Regional, national, or international prominence.

Community excellence should be judged by:

a. Evidence of service to the local, state or national community.

b. Evidence of teaching excellence.

c. Evidence of original, creative contributions to the field.

d. The general esteem and aspect of the candidate's peers as a role model and mentor to others in the field.

 

Nominations will be received until:

12:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2011

 

Please Note: The committee will accept no more than three letters - one nominating and two supporting. The nominating letter must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae.
